歴史が長い芸術大学
ボーンマス芸術大学（通称AUB)はロンドンから2時間ほどの海辺の街ボーンマスにあり、1880年に設立された伝統の大学です。総生徒数は3500名程度で比較的小規模で、一つのキャンパスに全てが集約されている為、他学部との交流、コラボ企画が多く、一つの作品を作るのに色んな学部を巻き込んで制作する極めて実践的な学校です。
イギリスの大学に進学される方の大半はファウンデーションコースからの入学になりますが、その際に芸大入学の最大の難問となるのがポートフォリオ。このポートフォリオも事前に大学が見てくれるので、経験が無くても安心です。また、AUBのファウンデーションコースからであれば学士号コースへの進学は保証されており、その際毎年3000ポンドの奨学金も出るのでご予算の面でもかなり有難い制度ですね。

この大学では、最大2学期（半年）までの体験入学が可能です。1学期（3か月程度）か2学期（6か月弱）を選ぶことが出来、ビザ申請が必要ないプランなので、大学なのに気軽に行けるのが特徴です。
